Código de Buenas Prácticas
en el sector del comercio de productos

de droguería, perfumería y coméstica

-1.-Aim of the Code

 

The Code of Good Practices in the Sector of Drugstore, Perfumery and Cosmetics Products Trade has as priority objective to increase the quality of activities in establishments that adhere to it, through the exercise of responsible business practices and, according with the requirements legally established for, and with commitments for action contained therein, to meet the demands and needs of consumers, to safeguard their economic interests and enhance their protection, particularly against the risks that may affect their health and safety, providing adequate information to help his training consumption.

In this regard it should be noted that the Sector of Drugstore, Perfumery and Cosmetics Products Trade features cover a wide range of products, in constant development, considered the most widely consumption, with most properties and composition versatile, whose common denominator being prepared from chemicals, some of which are identified as dangerous or potentially dangerous and may involve some risk to the consumer and / or the environment.

Also, the implementation of this Code of Good Practice is an intent to conduct business through self-activity, a close scrutiny of its actions to ensure the proper provision of service in order to meet consumer expectations with respect to such establishments and the products they sold.

It is also a priority in this code, promoted by business and consumers, the purchase and use of organic products yhat can reduce negative environmental impacts and promote the consumption of products bearing the ecological label, to promote effective use of them, contributing to the awareness of environmental protection and sustainable consumption.

-2.-Scope of application

 

This Code of Good Practices will be in application to those professionals, pertaining to the Sector of Drugstore, Perfumery and Cosmetics Products Trade, which have their registered office or operating through branches located in the municipality of Madrid, belonging to the Organization of Drugstore, Perfumery and Cosmetics Products Trade of the Autonomous Community of Madrid (APDCAM), which wish to accede to it, as well as all those business and professional of this sector that voluntarily demonstrate their commitment.
